| Monitor Generators, Temperature, Humidty and Intrusion Alarms With The NetGuardian 832A G4... |
How This Application Works:
| Equipment Used: |
The Analog Temperature/Humidity Sensor (made by Vaisala) is a single self-contained unit sensor that will be able to monitor and report analog temperature/humidity settings at your site. I've included the package, which will come equipped with a DC-to-DC converter for use with -48VDC conditions. The temperature ranges from 23 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit (-5 to 55 degrees Celsius). Humidity ranges from 0% RH to 100% RH temperature compensated. Both temperature and humidity outputs are linearized across the 4 to 20 mA output. You will be able to view the real-time temperature/humidity from a remote location using the NetGuardian's web browser or the NG-Edit Utility. This unit also allows you to set four thresholds (minor under, minor, major, major over). You can set alarms at each temperature/humidity setting to send an alarm to your NetGuardian. This way, you will not have to watch the temperature/humidity settings all the time in order to discover if the temperature/humidity is too low or too high. We will be glad to provide pricing on the 110VAC power supply upon request.
The Current Sensor is a Hall Effect current sensor and signal conditioner that measurers DC / AC currents and provides electrical isolation between the output of the sensor and the current carrying conductor. The output is 4-20Ma proportionate to the current passing through the conductor place through the aperture of the sensor. The sensor has a jump that selects between 50, 75 and 100 AMP scales. It also features a split core design allowing the sensor to be easily placed around cables to be measured without interrupting operation. Ideal uses include: Motor Drives, UPS systems, Battery Chargers, Power Supplies, and Replacement for shunts.
The Door Sensor (Surface Mount) is a closed loop magnetic contact sensor. The unit consists of magnet and contact. Gap distance is 5/8". The package includes screw kit for mounting hardware.
