| Report Alarms to MegaSys SNMP Manager using NetGuardians over RS232 Serial |
How This Application Works:

|
For your convenience we have broken the solution into two options. Each option features the T/Mon SLIM regional master that will be equipped to receive alarms over RS232 and/or IP from DPS alarm remotes. With a maximum capacity of 64 network devices the T/Mon Slim will be able to monitor NetGuardians with extra room to grow.
Option 1 features the NetGuardian 216 as your remote monitoring unit. The NetGuardian 216 is one of our smaller units, but it can monitor 16 contact alarm points over an internal RS232 drop and insert interface and supports 2 controls and 2 analog alarms.
Option 2 features the NetGuardian G4, which has more features and a higher alarm capacity than the NetGuardian 216. It has an integrated LCD screen to quickly inform the on-site technician what the alarm has happen, as well as having 32 contact alarm points, supporting 8 controls and 8 analogs.
It should be noted that the remotes included in this proposal are very flexible and can transition to new IP transport if and when you make this upgrade.
The T/Mon SLIM offers advanced alarm monitoring in 1RU form factor. The T/Mon SLIM allows you to consolidate alarms from multiple remote sites into a single platform then share that alarm information with up to five users simultaneously using its built-in Web Browser interface or T/Windows remote access software.
