| Monitor NEC and Badger Remotes over serial, Radios using TBOS... |
How This Application Works:
| Equipment Used: |
|
It will provide you with the ability to collect alarms from your existing Badger and NEC remotes in to a single monitoring platform. This T/Mon NOC platform provides the best path to getting both networks operating on a modern and well-supported system. You can gain the benefit of a forward thinking master station that will allow improvements and provide future monitoring for such things as ASCII, SNMP and NetMediators.
It will provide your technicians the ability to remotely view alarms via the built in web browser and/or the included T/MonGFX Software Module.
Optional parts of this solution include T/Mon GFX, the necessary databasing conversion utilities, a single NetMediator, On Site Travel, Turn Up and Assistance and the Maintenance Agreement for the T/Mon NOC.
You'll notice the inclusion here of the SNMP Trap Processor and the SNMP Agent Forwarding Software Modules as options for the T/Mon NOC. Already included are the Badger 481 Interrogator and the NEC21SV Interrogator software modules.
The SNMP Software Modules provides increased monitoring and capabilities for existing and future SNMP type devices in your network. The T/Mon will be able to receive SNMP Traps over IP, as well as gain the advantage of being able to forward alarms via SNMP to a designated Master of Masters. Though these software modules can be added at a later time, we would strongly recommend this option being ordered when the T/Mon NOC is ordered.
This way, your team will be able to receive training on this important software module during the initial setup. That being said, the same logic should be used to order your first NetMediator.
