How This Application Works:

Equipment Used:
We have prepared this solution to replace the Badger Remotes in your current network. This solution will serve as a comparison sheet of the NetGuardian 216, and the NetGuardian 480, which will all report SNMP to Polyview.

Option 1 features the NetGuardian 216, the smallest in the NetGuardian family. The NetGuardian 216 will meet your small site requirements in both alarm capacity and price. This NetGuardian comes with 16 discrete alarms and 2 control relays. The NetGuardian 216 will provide complete coverage and control of your smaller remote sites with easy installation and configuration.

Option 2 is the NetGuardian 480, which has the most discrete points per dollar, but no analog. The NetGuardian 480 will fill the gap where you have a greater need for discrete point capacity. The NetGuardian 480 is optimized for use as a high-capacity discrete-only responder.

We would like to invite you to participate in our online web demonstration of the NetGuardians that you are interested in. By visiting our website and calling into our bridge phone number, you will be able to meet with our DPS team, as we take you slide by slide of our NetGuardian and product line. This is an efficient use of your time as we schedule the appointment around you and would make a great opportunity to bring onboard other members of your team.

The NetGuardian 216 offers an easy, cost-effective way to monitor your small sites. The NetGuardian 216 comes equipped with 16 discrete alarm inputs, 2 analog alarm inputs, and 2 control relay outputs. The discrete alarms are items such as door alarms, equipment alarms and other ON/OFF events. The discrete alarms are "software reversible" to support both N/O and N/C alarm wiring. The NetGuardian 216's 2 analog inputs can be used for measuring such critical events as temperature, voltage and battery. We also have a line of sensors, which can be used with the NetGuardian 216 and can be included upon your request.

The NetGuardian 480 (NG480) is a specialized member of the NetGuardian family, optimized for use as a high-capacity discrete-only responder. The result is a highly costeffective solution for gathering the diverse equipment at your remote site and integrating it into a single modern network management system.
