T/Windows uses T/MonXM technology, but it has been converted into an easy to use Windows based program.
The T/Windows interface is very similar to that of the T/MonXM interface with the addition of convenient Windows tools. Right-click functionality is one of the Windows tools that T/Windows uses to access major functions of T/MonXM. It provides capabilities for up to four concurrent window sessions and offers improved help text. T/Windows also has enhanced reporting features.
T/MonXM is uniquely designed to monitor a large cross section of equipment so that it can consolidate alarm systems rather than just poll alarms from DPS remotes. This provides a single user interface with one general-purpose terminal instead of multiple systems with specialized terminals and gives telecom managers instantaneous and comprehensive network status information. It also makes centralized administration of databasing and alarm history.
