Reserve Your Seat TodayAuto-Databasing SNMP and Another Record-Setting Month...
Let's start big: Auto-Databasing SNMP. This does for SNMP device monitoring what Auto-Databasing ASCII did for switch monitoring. If you're like most T/Mon users who use Auto-Databasing ASCII, then I know you'll want this gem in your monitoring module collection.
Just as quickly as we released the T/GFX update, we added a new feature that allows you to more easily carve up your territories by user logon. We call this "Views", and you can read more about them in this issue. Please note: Unlike the standard T/GFX update, the update containing "View" functionality is only available by request to T/GFX users.
This last July was yet another record-breaking high sales month of all previous July's in our history. (I know, it's getting kind of old news in this letter because this type of event has been occurring all year, but it never gets old to us - as it shows our team and our clients are accomplishing some great things together.)

Prepare Early For End-Of-Year Ordering...
Is it December 2008? Not yet, but for the purposes of year-end purchases, it's not too early to start your planning. Deployment timing is even more critical if you need to have the gear installed this year as well. At DPS we always try to accommodate as many "end-of-year" rush orders as possible, but getting your orders in earlier is always best for everyone.
One recurring theme at DPS is continuous improvement. In fact, we have multiple meetings every week on this topic spanning every department. Many of the changes we make are completely transparent to our clients. One recent example is that we redesigned the work space in our shipping department for better flow and cleaner operations. While this doesn't add a new feature to a product, it does allow more products to ship more easily. Then again, there also are changes that you can see (if you look). Documentation is a good example of this. Based on tech support interactions and client feedback, we modify our user manuals so they can better help you do your job. Because we are vertically integrated and follow lean manufacturing processes, changes can be rapidly deployed to future shipments.
Over the years, you may have noticed various assessments we use to measure how well we are doing and to get your opinion of how we can improve. We really appreciate the feedback you provide. Please keep in mind that you don't need a survey to give us feedback. Just call us!!
