The T1/E1 WAN Mux is a device used in conjunction with the VLAN Router and the NetGuardian G5's T1/E1 interface. There is one ethernet port and sixteen T1/E1 ports. This device will take the tagged ethernet packets from the VLAN router and route the packets to one of the sixteen T1/E1 ports by checking the VLAN tag. The T1/E1 will also monitor each WAN port for possible errors with the connection. This industrial-grade equipment is housed in a durable aluminum case. This device may be purchased in two different models: T1 or E1.
Upgraded Web Interface
The overhauled web interface boasts several time-saving new tools. Menus load quickly and the alarm status updates automatically without requiring a page refresh. Firmware upgrades are also supported using the web interface.
T/Mon Integration
The T1/E1 WAN Mux supports DCP/IP protocol so your T/Mon master station may monitor a critical piece of equipment along with gathering status information about the individual T1/E1 ports.
