How This Application Works:

The ASCII to RS232 software module will enable all direct connect ASCII ports on your system to have the ability to connect to our 8-Channel MUX. This means that if you already had a single port ASCII interrogator, you could connect up to 8 ASCII devices to that port by using this software module along with the 8-Channel MUX. This module is ideal for processing data from a large quantity of ASCII devices without large port allocation requirements. Only one (1) ASCII MUX software module is required regardless of how many 8 channel MUX's are used.

We've also featured the - 48VDC, 8 Channel ASCII RS232 MUX with buffer to DB9 connector. It will multiplex eight (8) RS232 devices into a single RS232 port. This is used to feed multiple asynchronous ASCII channels to a single T/MonXM port for higher device densities.
