Deploy free voice communication at all your LAN sites across your network. The VoIP Orderwire delivers voice communication at all your LAN sites - plus the monitoring you expect from a NetGuardian.

Key Features

  • RTU capability option with 16 discretes, 4 analogs, and 2-18 controls
  • Hoot 'n Holler - Page all your staff at once within the orderwire system
  • Dialing on the handset - No need to stand right in front of your racks
  • Allows you to communicate via LAN instead of leased telephone lines

The VoIP Orderwire delivers voice communication at all your LAN sites. Using VoIP (Voice over IP) technology, you call another orderwire station, a select group of stations, or use the Hoot 'n Holler "all call" feature to page someone when you’re not sure where they are.

Do your techs depend on their cell phones when working at distant sites? When cell coverage is poor, where will they turn in case of an emergency? Deploy this orderwire to achieve a reliable means of communication where you never had one before.

Plus, in the same 1 RU unit, you have the option of using RTU-functionality with 16 discrete alarm inputs, 4 analog inputs, and 2 to 18 control relays.

Each VoIP Orderwire station unit installs easily - just plug into your LAN hub. In just 1 RU of space, you can get rid of all those costly telephone lines and long-distance fees.

VoIP communication uses the industry-standard SIP 2.0 protocol and G.711 codec, making this orderwire system even easier to work with if you’re already familiar with VoIP.

VoIP Orderwire from DPS Telecom currently runs on reliable DC power: -48VDC. Other power options include 10VAC via an optional wall transformer and +/-24VDC.

VoIP Orderwire Functions

VoIP Orderwire offers different methods of VoIP communication with other stations across your network:

  • Station to station
Dial directly to another orderwire station, where it will "ring" until the party has answered. This call is considered private because other stations will not be able to hear the conversation.
  • Hoot 'n Holler
This "all call" feature allows you to speak to every orderwire in the system. Personnel will hear your voice through the speaker at each station - Great if you're trying to locate someone or page all your staff.
  • Conference Bridging
In this application, multiple stations join a private call where parties dial into a conference bridge to talk at the same time. This allows you to privately conference with orderwire stations across the network.
